Chester is my home and I want it to be safe, secure, familiar, and above anything else, affordable for all.
I am a former Roman Tour Guide for the city. I chair the youth club in Upton, The Heath. I’ve worked in the tourist centre at the town hall, in KingKabs on Bridge Street, and today I make a living as a journalist. This city gave me the confidence to stand up and be counted.
My family don’t often vote. I come from a background where politics is done to us, not by us. Power should be as local as possible, as accountable as possible, and make as much sense to the people it affects most.
I am here to champion the needs of the many for the City of Chester, for the Garden Quarter, for Newtown and Newry Park, and for Boughton by the water tower. Chester is my home. It’s a very good home. But it will be action, not words, that protects and preserves it for future generations.
I have been the local councillor for this area since 2023. I have worked closely with Paul and Katrina to get things done. I’m proud of what success I have sought for my residents. But though there is lots done, there is still lots – lots more – to do.
